The 2027 Masters runs April 8-11, 2027, with weekend coverage on CBS. Here's the date, the network, and how to watch the final round free over the air with no cable or subscription.
The 2027 Masters Tournament runs Thursday, April 8 through Sunday, April 11, 2027, at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia. Weekend coverage — Saturday, and the Sunday final round when the green jacket gets handed out — airs on CBS, free over the air. Thursday and Friday's opening rounds air on ESPN instead, which is cable/streaming only.

- CBS (Saturday & Sunday), ESPN (Thursday & Friday, cable only)

- Sunday coverage on CBS typically runs into the early evening ET as the leaders finish; exact tee times are set closer to the tournament.
Why does the network change mid-tournament?
Augusta National splits its broadcast rights by day: ESPN carries the first two rounds (Thursday and Friday), while CBS — which has broadcast the Masters for decades — takes over for the weekend, including the final round on Sunday. If you only watch one day, Sunday on CBS is the one that's both free over the air and the day the tournament is actually decided.
The good news if you don't have cable
You'll need cable or streaming to catch Thursday and Friday's early rounds on ESPN. But the weekend — Saturday's moving day and Sunday's final round — airs on CBS, a full-power broadcast network. That means anyone with an antenna can watch the tournament actually get decided, in HD, for free, no subscription of any kind required.
The short version: You don't need cable to watch the Masters get decided. Point an antenna at your local CBS affiliate on Saturday and Sunday, April 10–11, 2027, and you'll get the weekend coverage, including the final round, for free.
Not sure what channel CBS is where you live?
CBS affiliates broadcast on a different channel number in nearly every market. We'll update this post with tee times and the final round broadcast window as CBS and Augusta National confirm them closer to tournament week.
