A CBS tradition
CBS has carried the Army-Navy Game every year since 1996, and the two academies have signed a deal that keeps it on CBS through the 2038 season. The game also streams on Paramount+, which needs a subscription. The broadcast on CBS doesn't.
The game is played on its own Saturday in December, the week after the conference championships, so it doesn't compete with the rest of the college football schedule.
Why the game matters beyond the rivalry
Army-Navy is one of the three games that decide the Commander-in-Chief's Trophy, which has been awarded since 1972. Army, Navy, and Air Force each play the other two, and an academy that beats both takes the trophy, so this game is often the one that settles it.
The short version: You don't need cable or Paramount+ to watch the Army-Navy Game. Point an antenna at your local CBS station on December 12, 2026, and you'll get the whole game for free.
